Clumberdoodle Archie And His 5th Week

08/07/2017 By Karen Leave a Comment

Clumberdoodle Archie And His 5th WeekIt is hard to believe (as it seems a whole lot longer) but little Archie has now just started his 5th week with us.

Pupdate 9th July 2017

Although he is very good on the lead, I thought it was kinder for him to now have a little harness instead of his lead being attached to his collar, so it was a trip down to Jollyes, where they have a small branch in our local Wyevale Garden Centre here at Ivybridge. Clumberdoodle Archie And His 4th Week

Clumberdoodle Archie And His 4th WeekAnother week has gone by, and now it has been 7 days since Archie’s final injections, so he can finally go out and explore the World.  This  is going to be quite an exciting week for him as he will be meeting some donkeys at the Ivybridge Donkey Sanctuary where I am a volunteer.  Friday will also be a very interesting day as Archie will be re-united with one of his litter brothers. Clumberdoodle Archie and His Second Week

18/06/2017 By Karen 4 Comments

Clumberdoodle Archie and His Second WeekArchie is now in his 2nd week with us, I have decided to rename him a “Slumberdoodle” as he does like to sleep, most of the day, but not so good at night.

Pupdate 17th June 2017

Archie had his first set of injections on 12th June 2017 and we decided that today would be his first trip out in the outside World away from our home.  We decided to take a picnic and take Archie to Burrator Reservoir, which is about a 30 minute drive from our home.  It was like packing up for a Worldwide expedition, what with blankets, crate, towels, collapsible food bowl, food, water, lead and our picnic.

We moved the crate on the back seat and this seemed to do the trick as he was quite settled for the journey there and back. [Read more…] about Clumberdoodle Archie and His Second Week
