New Years Eve 2024 The Horn of Plenty Tavistock
It was an awful 2024 for us as we lost our dear beloved dog Archie very suddenly and totally unexpected at the age of just 7 and a half years in October. He was our world and he has left a huge hole in our lives and we miss him dearly so Steve (my husband) decided we needed a nice end to 2024. Ruby Wedding Celebration at Lympstone Manor 2018
It is hard to believe but Steve and I celebrated our 40th (Ruby) Wedding Anniversary on the 20th May 2018. I have to say that Steve needs a huge trophy in recognition of him having to put up with me for all this time – as I am sure no-one else would have done!!

The Treby Arms Sparkwell Devon For My 60th Birthday Meal
I turned the big 60 on 14th December 2016, Steve (my husband) booked a surprise overnight stay on my actual birthday at the Padstow Townhouse with a superb meal at Paul Ainsworth No 6 Restaurant, which was absolutely fantastic and a birthday I will never forget – it was perfect.
Steve also booked a meal at the One Michelin star Treby Arms Restaurant a couple of days afterwards as a joint celebration with our Son – Adrian who also has a birthday very close to mine.

It was my year to organise how we would celebrate our Wedding Anniversary which would be our 36th this year on the 20th May 2014. I decided to take my Hubby Steve (who needs a medal to have put up with me all these years) to go to the Grand Hotel in Torquay. As we are lucky enough to live in the South Hams which is a beautiful part of Devon, I was spoilt for choice as to where to go. Christmas comes and goes far too quickly each year, and as I do all the cooking over the festive period, we decided this year to treat ourselves to Christmas dinner at a local hotel.
