In addition to selling our beautiful silver on our website, we also attend antiques fairs, which have mainly been at local venues in and around Devon which include two fairs at Exeter, Matford & Westpoint and and over the weekend of the 26th and 27th July we ventured into North Devon and did our first fair at the Vintage Weekend and Antiques Fair held at RHS Rosemoor Gardens in Great Torrington. Great timing, the football 2014 World Cup started and we decide to go on holiday (just a coincidence really!).
Little note regarding the photos. You will see that Steve is in the majority of them, as I managed to escape the lense as I was taking them!!!
Steve my hubby and myself decided to go back to France and have a similar holiday to last year (if you are interested then please read that blog). We (well he, as I will not drive in France) decided not to do as much driving as last year, particularly as we were only away for 10 days, so we stayed for 3 nights in the 3 hotels that we chose from the Brittany Ferry Holiday Brochure. The first hotel was in Clisson which is in the Western Loire region, with the second being in Trizay (but I should really keep this one a secret) in the Poitou Charentes region and the third right on the coast in Billiers in Brittany. I am a volunteer boarder for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People Charity, which means when their puppy socialiser goes away, the puppies are boarded out with people like me rather than board them out in kennels. So on the 27th May 2014, little George a 5 month old golden Labrador came to stay with me for 2 weeks.
It was my year to organise how we would celebrate our Wedding Anniversary which would be our 36th this year on the 20th May 2014. I decided to take my Hubby Steve (who needs a medal to have put up with me all these years) to go to the Grand Hotel in Torquay. As we are lucky enough to live in the South Hams which is a beautiful part of Devon, I was spoilt for choice as to where to go.
