I know that I am probably a bit late to post a review on the above film, as it has been going for quite a while, but I have only just seen it myself and just had to comment on it.
I have to say that this is just a delightful and charming film and suitable for any age, which describes how the loveable Paddington bear gets to arrive in London to find a new home and the events that take place whilst he is making himself at home. The computer graphics of the actual bear are absolutely brilliant, and I defy anyone who doesn’t concur with me that it is hard to think that he is not real!!!! sad but true but he really is adoreable.
Now if you haven’t yet seen it, I do not want to give too much of the story away, but of course there is a villain being the excellent Nicole Kidman, and there is a part in the film where you would not recognise Hugh Bonneville (Lord Grantham of Downtown Abbey) – dressed as a cleaning maid, I will say no more.
If you want to go and be entertained by a film with a great little story and featuring a loveable very realistic bear (well apart from him walking on two legs and talking!!), no blood or gore (well could have been but Paddington was saved – oh no I have given the plot away!), no swearing etc etc, then this is a perfect film for the whole family. There are a few little adult inuendos to keep us amused, but who really needs them as, if you have a soft spot for Paddington Bear as I do (and own one with the original red Dunlop wellies) then this is a must see film. If you miss it on the big screen, then make children’s film but adults will also love it
Enjoy

The Paddington Film My Personal Review
Steve says
I have to agree. One of the most enjoyable movies I have seen for a long time. It must surely get a sequel!
