Clumberdoodle Archie’s 4th Birthday

Quite unbelievable but on 2nd April 2021 Archie turned 4, where has the time gone?  Again like last year Archie celebrated it during the Covid pandemic.  Some restrictions were lifted on the 29th March 2021 so we have been able to drive short distances in the car to take him for his daily walk and yesterday we went  to a local beach. Why I Bought A Pawhut Dog Grooming Table

Archie my Clumberdoodle has a thick coat which needs a lot of maintenance.  Not only daily brushing to avoid his coat matting (which if you have a poodle cross in particular you will know what I mean). Also his coat is a mud magnet so after nearly every walk he has to be washed off with the Mud Daddy and then dried.   I have to kneel down on the floor  which is not ideal when you are of a certain age or have back problems, which I do.  Getting down is okay, it is the getting up that is a problem. I thought that getting a grooming table would ease the back ache as Archie would be at an easy workable height.  He is nearly 4 years old and I have struggled over these years so decided that a grooming table might be the answer. What is a Clumberdoodle?  Well a Clumberdoodle is a cross between a pure bred Clumber Spaniel and a Poodle.

We have a Clumberdoodle (Archie) and when he was a puppy everyone naturally assumed that he was a Cockapoo.  However, as he got larger it was clear that he was a lot bigger than a Cockapoo and on nearly every walk we  get asked the question “What is he?”
