Dog Reference For Daisy
Daisy’s owners holiday in France every year, and last year when they went away, and Daisy had not yet got her pet passport as she was a fairly new addition to their family, I offered to look after her for the two weeks whilst they were away, so we got to know her quite well. She now has her pet passport and her owners want to take her with them this year. They stay in a Gite and are friendly with the owner, who does allow pets to stay but only if they are well behaved. As Daisy’s owners wanted to confirm that she was okay I was asked if I would write a doggy reference. Well, I don’t think I have ever heard of anyone writing a doggy reference, but I naturally agreed. Having said I would, what do you actually write? I put paw (pen) to paper and gave her a glowing reference, as she clearly deserved, as she is absolutely no trouble and she is a dog that you could take anywhere, and not have to apologise for in any way. Her owners sent the reference to the Gite owner, who obviously was pleased with it, as Daisy is allowed to stay so she is going on her holidays to France this year. They are going across on the Brittany Ferries – a bit of a plug here, as my Son works for them and Daisy (Labradoodle) will be lucky enough to have one of the kennels onboard on the way out. The only down side is for me, is that she will not be coming back to stay, as we enjoy having her – for short periods anyway!!!!
